It’s back! Sheffield’s Global Village Market will be back in Sheffield’s city centre from Thursday 27 April – Monday 1 May 2017, on Fargate, around the Town Hall and in the Peace Gardens.

International foods on offer include Catalan tapas, Greek gyros, a Traditional German Schwenkgrill selling Bratwurst and Currywurst Sausage, French crepes, a Thai noodle bar and even Ostrich and Kangaroo burgers. Crafts and gifts will also be sold from around the world including South American jewellery and knitwear, Italian silk scarves, handmade amber, crystal and gemstone jewellery and the famous Dutch Plant Garden selling a huge array of shrubs, bulbs, plants, trees and garden ornaments.

To mark the occasion, we have been given ten sets of £50 vouchers to spend at the Global Village Market free of charge.

They will be allocated to the first ten people to email us with the correct answer to the following question:
What sauce was first produced in Sheffield in 1885 whose fans include Marco Pierre White, The Arctic Monkeys, Richard Hawley and Sean Bean?

Emails should be sent to communications@sheffield.gov.uk.

The first ten correct entries will be sent an email with details about where to pick up their vouchers from.

  • Thursday: 9am – 7pm
    Friday to Saturday: 9am – 5.30pm
