The local illustrator, Josephine Dellow said: “I come from a big family so I’ve always had lots of people around me at Christmas and it makes me sad to think of people who may be alone. I wanted to create the chance for someone to make a card for a total stranger who might be lonely this Christmas.

"I’m happy to use this opportunity to create something unique with the Sheffield community and do good for others. It has been very touching to see people come specially to make a card or stop as they’re passing."
