Sheffield will be supporting the minute’s silence across Europe at 11am today as a mark of respect for those who died during the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night.

The siren will be sounded at 11am in the city centre and the French flag will be flown over the Town Hall.

The Deputy Leader of the City Council, Cllr Leigh Bramall, and Chief Executive John Mothersole will be outside the Town Hall main entrance to join the minute’s silence.
