We were devastated to learn about Sarah Nulty’s passing. Sarah was the festival director of Tramlines, which comes to Hillsborough Park, and to the city centre fringe, later this month.
A council spokesperson said:
“This is such sad news and our thoughts are with Sarah’s family and friends at this time. From day one, Sarah has been an integral part of Tramlines from its first incarnation 10 years ago to the exciting and star-studded festival that we are holding later this month. She had the passion, integrity and commitment to know that Tramlines had to have that combination of a brilliant free fringe festival with the commercial offer which we will see in Hillsborough Park this summer. Tramlines Ten is absolutely Sarah’s vision – and it is so sad that she won’t be there to witness it. All of Sheffield will come together to see a festival which is not only the pride of our city but one of the best city-based festivals in the world. We will really miss Sarah and her dedication to Sheffield and live music.”
