Oughtibridge resident Terry Barrow has been flooded four times in 17 years, and her house suffered extensive damage during the 2007 Sheffield floods.

She has launched a petition saying she supports the council’s “once in a lifetime” opportunity to shape the future of flood protection across the city. The council is consulting on an £83m programme which will see new flood defences across the city.

The Sheffield Flood Protection consultation exercise runs until the end of October.  You can have your say by going to our website, www.floodprotectionsheffield.com.
